Is this happening to you too?

Why can't I edit already posted forum files, the code I was using used to work and suddenly it stopped working please is there anyway to fix this or an alternative? For example a user made a post on the forum and maybe later found out that there is an error so he or she tries to edit the post to correct the error!!!
